Coffee

My human loves coffee but says that the caffeine does not like her. I have to agree because when she has drunk a lot of it during the day, she will just not stay still at night! She fidgets and makes it very tough for me to find a nice comfortable spot where I can get my rest and still keep an eye on her.

Apparently, many humans have similar problems with caffeine. To get the taste but not the jitters, my human started drinking a mix of decaffeinated and regular coffee. Recently she was told by a major coffee chain that they stop brewing decaffeinated coffee at noon.

Does this make sense? Isn't that just when humans would want to drink the stuff?

  2. Great idea for your first blog and what a cute kitty...my kitty is a rescue cat too! He is black and white - dressed as if he had a tuxedo on. I don't like to think about what could have happened to him if my daughter did not rescue him. My grandson just loves him to pieces. We really have a fun life with him around the house. My guess is that we will be following all the things that Nala is interested in on this blog. Regina

  4. Nala,

I am impressed. Now, this certainly isn't the first blog I have read that was created by a cat, but I have to say its the best. Your command of the english language is astounding. You are a better writer than some people I know! Usually, when I read a blog written by a cat (please excuse the sterotyping here), they are writen in a way that I really can't follow. Milk this, catnip that, really all over the place. Your blog has focus and is to the point. Great job! Oh, and tell Nora I said "What's up!".

  6. Thanks for your comments !

Actually, I am not the cat playing the piano. She is one of my idols. She lives right here in Philadelphia, and made a bit of a sensation awhile ago.

I can only hope to approach her skill someday.

  7. Hey Nala, I remember you when you were a skinny cat off the street that could barely keep herself from falling over!!! Now look at your fresh face! In case no one realizes it, Nala started out as a little trash picking hobo in Ardmore, PA, and was dumped in a Blue Bell, PA barn with no forwarding address. From thence, her current owner had pity on her starved frame and took her in. We didn't know if she would make it. Now Nala is the ruler of the household, and her owner (really her servant) now answers her every beck and call. Nala is one lucky kitty!
